The Betrayal
“I might need a shower.”
Before she could turn away and make her way over towards the bathroom, Ares grabbed hold of her wrist and pulled her back in. There was no passion left in his expression now, just anger and venom.
“A shower, hm?” he spoke.
“To smell that stink off you? What am I smelling, Ivy?
Or, better yet, who am I smelling?!”
Ivy shivered, tears already starting to blur her vision.
“Nothing,” she said.
“Nothing… You’re smelling nothing.”
“Am I not?” Ares sneered.
His hand moved to her neck, brushing her hair away, so it no longer covered her skin there.
“And what’s this filthy fucking mark then, hm?”
Ivy winced before she realised what was happening, but then her cheek was stinging with pain, and her eyes were watering. When she looked back up, she could see Ares still standing there with his hand raised and only then did she realise that Ares had slapped her straight across the cheek, leaving her to deal with the pain of her own betrayal.

One wrong word now, and he might start squeezing.
“He did what?” Ares sneered.
“He fucked you? Fucked your precious little p***y, and conveniently made you forget that that little p***y of yours belongs to me, Ivy?! Is that what happened?”
Ares shook her, making it impossible for her to form an answer right away. However, as soon as Ares began to squeeze his hand shut around her troat, she started to panic.
“Yes!”
she shouted, her heart racing so uncomfortably that it was making her nauseous.
“That’s… that’s what happened. That’s… I drank. I drank too much, and then… ”
